Came across this lovely tea room when I was in the area visiting a local garage. Service was efficient, the staff were lovely, warm and welcoming, food and drinks were of a good standard and prices were fair. They had a cute shelf full of handmade items which were all great. Thank you for your hospitality.
Have been here a few times now and thought it was time I left a review. Whenever I've been in, the staff are courteous and interested in their customers. Which is refreshing these days. They will happily adapt any menu item to your needs or wishes. The menu isn't huge, and there isn't a children's menu, but what they do serve is of a good standard. The prices are reasonable. If you want a welcoming tea room, with a pleasant atmosphere and staff who are genuine. Then this is the place for you.
Had two birthday parties here in a private dinning room for around 10 of us we had afternoon tea which was fantastic and the hosts were amazing, I went down before hand with some decorations and fizz (no licence) nothing was too much trouble I will definitely be back xx
Overall good enough to go again but scope for improvement. Clearly put a lot of effort into decor. We were the only ones there at a Saturday lunchtime! The radio which was presumably on in the kitchen for the benefit of the staff was loud enough to be very noticeable but too quiet to hear the words. Quiet music fitting with the vintage theme would be better. Sandwich was served with cheese and onion crisps - no choice given. Sandwich tasted nice though. Place smelt a bit unpleasant. Menus looked cheap. Prices were relatively high given location and issues raised. No children's menu.
Menu is very flexible. And adapted to children. Great place to come and relax and chill good personal service.
