I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this salon. During my highlights appointment, I clearly explained and showed what I wanted during the consultation. Once the colour had finished processing, I said my hair looked very yellow and was reassured this would be fixed with toner. After the service was completed, I again mentioned that my hair still looked yellow, but I paid and left as I’m not someone who usually complains. The following morning, seeing my hair properly in daylight, it was clear there were serious issues — my hair was very warm/brassy, with visible regrowth along the parting, patchiness underneath, and clear signs of colour bleed. I was so unhappy that I had to pay £110 elsewhere to have it corrected, which should never have been necessary. On top of this, bleach completely ruined the hoodie I wore to the appointment. Although i have received payment for the price of the top, the colour is no longer available and it rendered the matching set unusable. When I raised my concerns, the response from the salon was defensive, with responsibility repeatedly shifted back onto me for not returning, despite the fact that I had already raised concerns during the appointment and lost confidence in the service. There was no accountability taken for the quality of the work itself. Overall, I felt dismissed, out of pocket, and very let down. I would not return or recommend based on this experience.

Hayley at House of Hair is the only person I trust with my hair, whether it be a cut & blowout, colour changes or hair extensions. She’s really knowledgeable about colours and colour correcting. She waves her magic wand every single time I go and always exceeds my expectations. The salon is a welcoming and friendly place to be. You get refreshments and a biscuit at no extra cost and a friendly face and a listening ear. What happens or spoken about in the salon stays in the salon. Highly recommended.

Hayley is amazing, she always does a fantastic job and listens to me. I look forward to going to the salon and always come away happy. I would recommend her and if I could give more than 5 stars I would.

I have been going to Hayley for years! I would never go anywhere else! She is absolutely amazing. Everyone in the salon is super friendly and welcoming and you know you are in safe hands. Would recommend to anyone!
