On 09/11/2024, I rode into this petrol station, to fill up my motorbike. I'm a 53 years old rider, with 36 years experience. I lifted the nossle, and no fuel was coming out. I heard the cashier saying something over the loudspeaker, but it is very difficult, when you are wearing earplugs, and the cashier has a foreign accent. I was wearing my flip face helmet (which means that you can easily recognise me). The voice came over the speaker again. A customer came out of door, and told me that she thinks that she wants me to remove my helmet. I propmpty put the nossle down and left the forecourt. I assumed that it was a jet policy, so took them off my list. Most motorcycle riders boycott petrol stations that partake in this activity. I could understand if I was a 17 year old, on a scooter, wearing a balaclava or full face helmet. But I'm a skilled professional, with an expensive, new motorbike. I probably earn twice the hourly rate of the cashier. It was extremely insulting and embarrassing. I went up to the jet station, on park road in Barnsley. He had no objections whatsoever. So it wasn't a policy, it was personal. When these rare events happen! The biker let's all the other motorcyclist know, and the fuel station gets black listed. It was commonplace, around 10 to 15 years ago, as was mobile phone usage. Now they encourage you to pay by using your mobile phone app, at the fourcourt. Times and attitudes have changed. I live in Bradford, so we definitely have tolerance for face coverage. They dare not say anything to motorcycle riders, as half of the demographic have face coverings. I suggest that you sort you cashiers attitude out.

So yesterday my partner put the wrong fuel in car obviously so we were stuck there trying to get help to sort it .I went inside to explain and the 2 ladies were really off hand and rude I asked if they had a contact number for anyone to help she snapped no then started aggressively saying you pay for fuel a total of 3.45 was the least of our problems at this point .I told her I would be she shouted now now so I paid and returned to car .we contacted someone to come sort it .when they turned up she was hovering at window gkaring at us as if we were going to take off .our whole situation was made worse by this woman whos customer service skills are non existent L
