Absolutely Shocking Customer Service. Never Ever will I use a Weldrakes Chemist again because of the experience from the Staff & The Pharmacist. I hope someone investigates this Chemist & the cctv footage to gather the information required to resolve how these staff members mistreat customers.

Popped in on Friday morning. Was noticed immediately by the loveliest lady (I didn’t manage to get her name, blonde hair) I had the worst flu ever! Asked for some much needed Imodium. Instead of just quickly grabbing a box she was most concerned and asked how long etc. bought over the pharmacist and helped and advised. She was so genuinely sympathetic which I thought was lovely as I was in such a state! 😩😩 . Thank you so much for taking the time and caring so much!! 😊😊😊

Shocking Customer Experiences..!! If this was the last Chemist in Wombwell, then I would either wait until I could get somebody to take me to a proper Pharmacy or DO WITHOUT..!! Every time you go, as another customer has said, your prescriptions are never ready, and on my last EVER visit there, people who came in after me were served before me, apparently because I had a rather large list of repeat medicines, and they only had one or two items to collect.. After an hour, without a word of a lie, I raised the issue of when my prescriptions would be ready, when I was the only customer in the place, and was told that they were "Just checking the medicines..!!" I had had enough and just asked for my prescriptions back so that I could get them dispensed elsewhere. At that point, they said that they had already dispensed them and were just checking them over.. I said that I did not care, and told them to put them back on the shelf and return my prescriptions to me so that I could go elsewhere.. What made the whole situation even more farcical was that I had 15+ items prescribed and dispensed EVERY TWO WEEKS, so you might think that I would be more valued as a loyal repeat customer, instead of being constantly pushed to the back of the queue.. I will never take another prescription there, and would advise other customers to exercise caution over this apparent "convenience" due to it's proximity to Chapelfield Medical Centre.. Either that or take a sleeping bag and a vacuum flask with them, and expect an intolerable wait.. They actually deserve one star less than I awarded them, but unfortunately, that isn't possible..

I will never enter this place again. Its bad enough that last week you left my daughter and her screaming premature baby waiting almost an hour to fill a simple calpol prescription. Today.. I attempted to collect my repeat prescription, only to be told "it's on the system but hasn't been done yet, it will be 10 minutes" This came as no surprise as the fact is your told that same every time regardless of if they've had the script 2 days or 2 weeks it's NEVER ready! On this occasion I had ordered the script 5 days ago and the incompetence was worse than ever. After been told will be ready in 10 minutes, so I went off to another shop to continue my shopping and returned after 45 minutes, only to be told... It's not ready, will be around 10 minutes! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? So I wait a further 20 minutes and final my name is called. But only half the items are in the bag! I then have to wait another 15 minutes for them to give me the items they didn't bother putting in the first bag. An absolute farce by people claiming to be professionals! On top of seriously stressing out someone that (as my prescription shows) has severe mental health issues and is meant to avoid stress, this cost me most of my afternoon and seriously darkened my mood, only to achieve what should have taken just seconds! You had a bloody week to get it ready fgs!!
