Tesco Express

The bakery they keep advertising on the windows looks great in theory, but in reality, it only works Monday to Friday, and only in the morning. On weekends, and especially Sundays after 11 AM, there’s nothing fresh left. I’ve reported this several times but nobody seems to care — which says a lot about the store’s management and how little customer feedback matters. The shop is also poorly stocked, with many products close to expiry. Very disappointing for a Tesco Express.

Some staff here is clearly not interested in customer service. Especially younger staff. Or they believe in racism? Saw a clear difference in treatment by staff. Go back to basics guys. Tesco believes in diversity not racism. Just leave the job if you can't do it.

Absently minded one day I went to the self checkout and didn’t pay. Realising after my account didn’t have anything that day I went back in. Said “Sorry don’t think I paid the other day what do I do?” Got accused by the manager of stealing multiple times and to only use the staffed tills from now on. Firstly I offered to rectify a simple mistake and approached you. Secondly Why would I steal using the self check out and not just leave. I have spent thousands with you annually and now will never go to a Tesco again. Disgusting way to treat someone who made an error and actually came to pay you back.

Appears to have a new security staff member. Something was going on with an elderly woman and him when I entered the store (I had earphones in) but the other staff seemed shocked - but I didn't pay any attention. I just finished a long day at work, it was hot weather and I just wanted to purchase some items. Two seconds later the same security guy was following me as if I was going to steal something. Not a shopping experience I appreciate. I spend a lot of money there and it's not like I'd steal anything - im fortunate enough to be a data scientist. I just took my business elsewhere and will continue to do so if this is a regular occurance.

I bought some fresh vegetables today as i am doing a dinner tomorrow for Mt family and we like pinion gravity and every onion I cut in to in my pack off 3 was moldy which I bought today!!!
