A nice spot, quiet, plenty of nature to look at and appreciate. There is a car park that is free. A good walk to be had. No cafe etc near, but Lidl is about 10 mins away if you want to grab a snack and a drink.
If you go a little down the road where Google says reached destination there's a small free carpark. Its a lovely size space with different trails to walk round. The river runs down one side and there's a large pond/lake with water birds and anglers, the geese were really tame and came right up to us, unfortunately we didn't take any food for them as I didn't realise the lake was there before we went. After walking round the main space we crossed the road and walked up through the trees, down the other side and takes you into netherwood marsh. We spent several hours exploring and imagination playing with lo pretending muddy parts in the marsh were swamps and logs were crocodiles. The park is pram friendly not sure about wheelchairs in terms on path width and slight unevenness of the natural paths. Will be going again, maybe not in such a warm day as it got busier as the day went on (we got there fairly early)
Spent the day fishing but caught nothing as probably in the wrong swim and the water level was a bit lower than usual but other people caught fish. Very reasonable rates.
Nice place to walk the dog, big open field, duck pond, shallow river & a bit of woodland, pity some owners don't pick up after their pets💩
Never go there my mrs and my daughter got attacked by like 30 swans trying to attack us when we was trying to feed them
