First visited when I came up to view a house near here, and thought it had a really cool vibe about it. Since moving up here, I've only managed to call in a few times near closing as my work has stayed in peak for 3 months longer than usual this year 🙃 but every time I've been in, the atmosphere has always been chilled out, and everyone has been really nice. The bar staff and the customers are friendly and chatty, the interior is quirky (i LOVE it) always looks amazing, and the work that's been done on the outside for the beer garden is 👌 The Facebook page is always up to date, advertising the current beer line up, events, and the weekly visiting food companies. Im bad at decision making when I'm tired, so only really drank cider in there so far (by Cranes. Soo nice and hard to find out in the wild) but now I have some time off work, I'll definitely be going over to try some of the beers.
Went here as part of the Sheffield Ale Trail pub crawl. Fantastic little bar/pub. Nice and cozy with a great selection of beers and brilliantly priced. 10 of us in a round for £43! Can't argue with that
A great local pub with a wide range of beers and drinks to choose from. It's got a great community atmosphere and very welcoming. It's child and dog friendly, with a few games to keep the kids entertained. Good outdoor seating for sunny days! Love seeing what different local beers they have on every week
Stopped off at The Oxbow in Woodhouse as part of our Sheffield to Retford Ale Trail, and what a find! 🍺 Great range of ales, all poured perfectly, and the atmosphere was spot on. Huge thanks to Nicole, who was an absolute star — super friendly and made us feel really welcome. Easily one of the highlights of the trail — we’ll definitely be back next time! 👏
Been in a few times may I say never disappointed. Good range of quality drinks, and some may say expensive, but for a good pint in my eyes you get the quality for the price, not tried food yet but that will be happening next visit, keep up the good work these and other pubs need to keep open it is our heritage and like all good traditions need to be supported.
