Each year we host a Xmas Party in December & Presentation Night in May for my Sons football team. The function room is perfectly sized and the outdoor space is excellent (for May). The landlord is very accommodating and allows us to bring any food / entertainment we require. The bar staff & locals are great too, getting involved in any fund raising we do on the night and have even been to watch the team play too. All in all a great venue and we’ll continue to use the Princess Royal going forward.
Called in for a quick pint, looks a bit rough outside but nice inside with a lovely beer garden, friendly down to earth clientele, landlord really friendly and welcoming. Nice pint. I've started to call in whenever I'm nearby but the opening hours are but hit and miss. We need more proper pubs like this as too many are closing down 🙁. Support your local pub.
Excellent local. Friendly Landlord, Mikie & Landlady,Chloe who go the extra mile. Chris who is an Excellent barman. Superb Beer Garden with lovely furniture and plenty of swings ect to amuse the children. Excellent local 10/10
Very friendly bar staff and best Carlings in the area
Went here after playing footy against their over 35 team, who were good lads. Looks a bit rough arsed from the outside but the staff are sound and the moretti is decent. Loads of room inside as well
