Really nice little cafe in the centre of the village. Staff have always been welcoming and happy to explain any dishes on the menu. Always leave here feeling well fed for a reasonable price.
Avoid Unbelievable!! Haven’t a clue how to cook food charging proppa breakfast prices and getting the cheapest of products food got taken back didn’t get offered a refund (how on earth do you do pouched eggs in a microwave 🤯
Lovely cafe. Nice and friendly and great value for money.
Lovely clean cafe but the breakfast was poor quality. I knew it was a bad sign when it came out ready, 5 mins after ordering. Pale under cooked bacon, aired underdone sausage and toast that looked like bread. Everything under cooked and low quality food. The waitress wasn't exactly welcoming either.
Really disappointed today, I've been a good customer for over 10 years regularly buying sandwiches for me and my family. So today I ordered a B.E.S.T and a large ham sandwich for my grandson. While I was waiting I called to a shop and returned soon after, the lady on the cooked section was chatting to a chap she had known. I was left waiting for over 15 minutes. After this time I asked if my sandwich was ready !! I was told the shop was busy I'd need to wait my turn, I'd been waiting over 15 minutes and customer were being served who had arrived after me. After being a good customer this as left me Suprised and shocked. I've always been loyal to mortimers cafe but now I'm more than happy to go elsewhere with how I was treated.
