Had a shocking sandwich today really old bacon definitely not freshly cooked
Asked for scrambled egg, bacon and beans on toast in a tray. I had to ask for the toast to go in the bottom of the tray... She put it on the side. I asked again... She said she is. The toast was on the side of the tray. She starts throwing utensils about. The toast is still on the side on the tray. I ask her to bring the tray to me so I can show her... And put it the toast on the bottom of the tray. Then she said she can't shut the tray At this point I asked for my money back... And there was attitude to this request too. Then she asked 'Is this to your satisfaction sir' with sarcasm and in a patronising manner Then she closed the tray... The one that she said she couldn't shut!! I ended up losing my temper because of her attitude and having to argue to get a refund. This may seem a trivial matter and indeed it probably is. However... The clue is in the name... Scrambled egg bacon and beans ON toast. Its not hard. I'd you can't carry out a simple request from a customer then there is some failings going on!! I won't be going back. The only reason I writing a review is because the owner wasn't present.
Popped in for a large Ham Salad Sandwich just before lunch. I have to say it was absolutely smashing. Salad and Ham was so very fresh and tasty (magic). Will definitely call-in, in the near future.
