We had Sunday lunch here and it was really good. The restaurant itself is lovely with a nice atmosphere, and the food was excellent. The two course Sunday lunch was very reasonably priced at £25.95, especially considering the generous portion sizes, you get loads of brisket. If you eat here I’d recommend to upgrade the Yorkshire pudding to the onion one, it was delicious. Overall it was a very good experience. Would definitely recommend and would happily return.
Beautiful food could have been a little warmer, Far too much chicken on plate couldn't touch it over faced but everything thing extremely tasty, stuffing should come on the plate with a chicken dinner the cheese and broccoli side was piping hot excellent so tasty preparation was beautiful.
lovely new restaurant. the food was good but not great. a bit expensive and my fish was mainly batter. lovely friendly team. we will come back for sunday lunch but again it looks like you have to have 2 courses at £25….i’ve never really understood 2 courses on sunday
Amazing service and great portions. The three course Sunday dinner was amazing, and we really enjoyed it as a whole family. Finding anywhere to eat that has great food and is child friendly is very difficult, especially with four children, but we all loved it. The kids got activity packs and we enjoyed a well cooked and delicious meal. Servers were Siân and Betty, really made us feel welcome and made the kids laugh. Will definitely be back for another Sunday dinner!
Called in today ( Sunday ) I had the chargrilled vegetable Wellington which came with all the trimmings! And it was delicious it also came with a huge homemade Yorkshire pudding, and David had Belly Pork with all the trimmings and he gave it a 10 out of 10 I had a large wine and David had a larger ….stuffed is a under statement! But honestly it was worth it! Staff are lovely with nothing being too much trouble, we will definitely be back!
