A Great place! good value, great food. Oh steak and ale pie, oh fish and chips, oh steak and onion rings! Amazing, will be back again!
Amazing roast dinner at The Everest! Clean, cosy and friendly vibes, everything you need from your local pub
My visit to this pub was thoroughly disappointing. The overall cleanliness left a great deal to be desired β the tables were sticky, the carpets were dirty, and the glassware appeared poorly washed. The restroom facilities were in an unacceptable condition, with unpleasant smells. Suggesting that cleaning and maintenance are not being carried out regularly. No glass collecting or plates once eaten. Equally concerning was the attitude of the landlady, who was both rude and unwelcoming. Her personal appearance did not reflect a professional standard, and her manner toward customers was dismissive. She also made it quite clear that she does not like children playing, which created a very uncomfortable and uninviting atmosphere for families. Overall, the pub felt neglected and poorly managed. I would not recommend visiting until substantial improvements are made to cleanliness, hospitality, and customer service.
The food was really nice all round yesterday. Service was a little slow, but only because it was so busy! Just wish there was a craft ale on keg sometimes.
Really nice pub. Will definitely visit again. π
