Ordered and took 2.5 hours ago. Small portions too. Large fish is more like a small fish. £14 for the below. I can order the same from my local chippy and actually get what I pay for. The curry sauce was more like curry flavour water, I gave them the benefit of the doubt as everywhere else was closed and I had a migraine so didn’t want to cook. Really disappointed with this place.maybe they didn’t anticipate to be as busy so watered down the sauce and decided to half the portions of chips but the whole meal was meh. Not worth the money.
Don’t usually go for a fish and chips and i haven’t had it from here since covid ( when we had a terrible experience) thought we’d give it another go. Food was great and reasonable prices in store. Had a chat with the new young business owner, very professional and great guy. this place has improved for the better, we’ll be back and i can only recommend anyone to try it.
Been here before and absolutely won’t be going back. Tiny fish and overpriced. The chips were undercooked and extremely pale. I called up to say they hasn’t been cooked long enough and she told me that other chippies don’t clean their oil and they’ve started using different potatoes that DON’T GO BROWN. Never heard such a ridiculous excuse in my life. Shocking and really disappointing. Photos make them look more brown than they actually were.
Only had a battered sausage and chips wasn't fresh and couldn't eat it Definitely gone down hill since our cath went
Mushy peas very poor threw them away. Fish was a thin strip little or no taste chips average. Will not be returning. Definitely gone downhill since I last used it around 6 week ago.
