Food always fresh and on point their fish are the best light batter you get a really large portion of chips really good value staff are friendly and always have banter would recommend 👌
Literally just got in with a Pie Special... Chips - Great Peas - Great Pie - Probably sat there since Christmas, pastry hard as a rock, filling (steak and kidney) all dried out and inedible... but, works well as a door stop and I need something to put under my car wheels as the handbrakes just gone and I live on a hill, so, every cloud and all that. There was certainly nothing 'pukka' about this pie!

Usually call here for a chip butty or fishcake butty to walk home with. Hubby had his first fishcake butty on Friday and commented how good it was. Lots of fish, perfect amount of potatoes all surrounded by a lovely crispy batter. Staff are really friendly too 😃
Everytime I'm at my friends house I come here. The chips are top-notch and the staff are very friendly. Most recently, the owner expressed concern for me as it was very rainy and I had no means of cover without an umbrella nor coat.
