I have been attending this surgery ever since I was a little girl and I have had a goof quality experience. However, recently the standards have gone down hill. The manor of the receptionist's when you ring to book an appointment is absolutely disgusting. I have never heard such a rude and hostile tone. They are not welcoming at all and doesnt make me feel I could go to the surgery for anything. The lack of patient confidentiality is outrageous, I had my diagnosis belted out in the waiting room by a the receptionist. I feel as I am a younger member of society I am pushed to one side and not given the same standard of treatment as older patients which in my opinion is unacceptable as no form of discrimination should be tolerated. A family member has the same prescription on a regular basis and has received the wrong prescription every time! I have also gone to every chemist in the area for a prescription only to find that it was rare medication and had to go back to get it changed. Which then took up my hole day. I do not recomend this surgery at all!!!
I've been trying to get to make an appointment for 4months to see a doctor for my son who has mental health issues its absolutely impossible, everytime we try calling at 8.30am its engaged & when we do eventually get to speak to someone they say all appointment are gone for today. This surgery has really gone down hill.😬😫 I've had asthma since I was 9yrs old & I'm 50yrs old now ,I've had 2ventolin inhalers monthly & a few months ago this surgery have changed this & now I'm only being prescribed 1inhaler every 2 months this is outrageous that it seems my asthma is not valuable to them😫😥😢
Well. Where to start? Being given a prescription for my child that would possibly have killed him. Had I not asked a friend (who is a Dr) to check it I dread to think of the consequences. The Dr who filled out the prescription apologised [and insisted that a review would be undertaken and further safety measures put in place to prevent this happening again], but then said a rather flippant 'the chemist staff would have noticed the mistake'. What if, like the Dr who made the mistake, a staff member at the chemist also made a mistake? Waiting for a phone call to be answered at 10.30 took 16 minutes; Waiting in the waiting room 20-30 mins after your appointment time (almost every time). Thankfully I don't need to go that often. However, the nurses, ESP's and Dr's I have seen have been excellent, once you get to see them. On the whole though, the overall system and the very serious mistake made warrant a poor review at this time.
This place what's shutting down worked in nhs operating theatre 21yrs x disgusting you go to the docs to get better NOT WORSE but now you don't even need to see a go they just cut your meds regardless. Its my life your playing with but quick to run when u call in seen 1 doc for years and she doesn't even know me. What a joke.
I would 0 star this place but I can't put 0.... they tell me to come at a certain time to collect a CD prescription for my son's adhd meds as there always running out in the chemist, bear in mind I have to sign at the doctors for the prescription, to then tell me to wait an extra half hour to be able to sign for it and make my son late for school.... always messing me about and losing prescriptions... god forbid if you need an appointment here !!
