I noticed they improved the area a little bit - added a “sleeping giant” sculpture, finally cleaned the pond from rubbish etc. It’s a shame though the Bath House itself is still closed with overgrown weeds behind the fence. I hope this place turns to something nice in the future so we could visit on our walk more often
1st time I’ve been here, what a lovely piece of history we have here. All the best to the new charity with the restoration
Like a lost building. It should be restored. Set in great woodland. The pond has fantastic potential. I do not live in the area but I hope some volunteers can be found to improve the site
Really interesting historically. Tour guide was very knowledgeable. Wear boots though because slippy in places.
Visited on a Heritage day tour, worth a visit, lots of history and info on the spa and the Birley Woodland area
