A peaceful place to go for a stroll, birdwatching, or fishing. It’s not a large area for walking but it’s a scenic and relaxing place to spend some time. There were a couple of bird hides overlooking to water. There were some wooden animal sculptures, lots of benches, picnic tables and a play area. Parking is free and there were plenty of spaces when I was there on a Thursday in November. There are no facilities.

Quite quiet. Little traffic. Easy parking. Totally flat pathways on compacted gravel. Wheelchair friendly and buggies. Arrived too late in the day for any Kingfishers. Usual ducks and coots. Circumnavigate the large lake. Many benches for walkers with hip problems (me). Took my niece who enjoyed the visit. Could have a recruit here! Only two anglers, one of whom agreed on the quietness which was what he hoped for.

What a great little find. I lived around here for 5 years and only just visited. Lovely ponds to fish, trails to walk round with nice setback seating areas. The only negative is not enough bins for dog poo bags. Will definitely be going back. Note, it's only a short walk, 30 -40 mins.

Lovely little reserve, nice easy stroll. Used to walk dogs a lot, and to say we met lots of people with dogs there was no dog mess so well done the people off the area
