This is our 3rd time staying at the huts and each time we don't want to leave and look at booking again soon as we get home. This time we stayed in the dalesbred hut which is personally my favourite so cosy and romantic with a wood burner. The views are amazing woke up this morning to snow capped hills in the distance. Emma and Pete are amazing hosts it is a working farm so there is always stuff going on and if you want showing round the farm they are always happy too. We've met the cows seen how they are milked and was even lucky enough to come in lambing season and met some lambs in the past. Emma is just a message away if you need anything even sorted me taxi to settle and back. The hut has everything you need for cooking has fast WiFi underfloor heating basically everything you need. Get it booked you won't regret it.

We had the loveliest weekend stay at Hollow Gill Guts in their luxury shepherd’s hut. Emma was such a warm and welcoming host – she made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The hut itself was absolutely beautiful – aesthetic, cosy, and spotlessly clean. The mini kitchen had everything we needed for light cooking, which was such a thoughtful touch. We really enjoyed the fire pit, especially since they kindly provided complimentary fire-lighting supplies. Toasting s’mores under the night sky was definitely a highlight. The treats waiting for us on arrival were such a sweet surprise too! The views of the farm from the hut are simply magical, and spotting deer in the morning made it even more special. We loved every moment of our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway. Can’t wait to visit again! 🌿✨

Absolutely incredible place to stay. The views are insane and the huts themselves are spotless, comfortable and warm with everything you could possibly need. Emma and Pete are the best hosts, even invited our son and daughter to feed the calves! Dog friendly too!! Just the most peaceful weekend. We will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the Wensleydale shepherd’s hut with our 2 daughters, aged 7 & 5, in July this year. The huts are set in an idyllic location in the Dales and have a fabulous view over the surrounding countryside. Our girls loved running around and playing football in the surrounding field and slept soundly in the cleverly designed bunk beds. The hut was equipped with everything we needed for for a short break away from it all and Emma and Pete were extremely welcoming hosts.
