Parklands

.After a 20-plus-year break, I finally got back to fishing today at Parklands! Steve was a massive help, showing me how to use the rubber bands to hold my bait, and they worked like a charm. I was thrilled to land two carp and had a great time fighting (and losing!) a few bigger ones. Fishing with a pole is so much fun—it's surprisingly easy! I'm completely hooked again and looking forward to picking up more tips.

Fantastic site. Very clean, friendly staff and an excellent cafe onside. Only 10 minute walk into northallerton

Had a great 2night caravan break. made to feel very welcome. Despite the rain I enjoyed I good days fishing. New fishing platforms were a welcome addition, will be back soon

Last minute trip to Northallerton to visit friends in our motorhome Well laid out and the facilities were clean. The chalets looked lovely too. Bit pricey at £30 a pitch but overall good

Very nice site, very quiet, always kept very clean and well maintained. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Whilst fishing on really hot day owners daughter came round lakes selling ice lollies and drinks, really nice touch on very hot day. Fishing lakes are great, plenty of stock and variety of fish, didn't see any monster fish but lots of healthy sized carp etc. Fishing shoo on site is really well stocked and good prices. All in all a great stay and will be going back. A+++
