York Cemetery is a beautifully unkept haven brimming with wildlife. One of my favourite spots for a wander in York. According to my grandparents who have resided here for some number of years, it is a lovely place to spend your life beyond consciousness too!

York cemetery is a beautiful site. Management is sympathetic to wildlife. The friends of group are active and welcoming. The site should really be considered a local nature reserve; one of the best spaces for wildlife in York.
