The ideal location for a Nature Journal Workshop, led by Anna of Nature Creatives, and courtesy of York Bike Belles. The cemetery is a green oasis, full of different habitats and wild places. It is a lovely spot to pause awhile and enjoy the natural world. And, of course, a contemplative space for departed loved ones.

York Cemetery is a beautifully unkept haven brimming with wildlife. One of my favourite spots for a wander in York. According to my grandparents who have resided here for some number of years, it is a lovely place to spend your life beyond consciousness too!

Lovely walk for those in the area or those who like history..few events going on here every year and some interesting late 1800s graves too..
