Tang Hall Community Centre

I currently do jiu jiutsu (a japanese martial art here) and its really good! There is a great community. The hall would be perfect for hosting events, with a sizeable kitchen next-door.(kotchen has a lottle window through to hall for serving food). Plents of accessibility ♿️ , lounge, and more! Truly a wonderful building that I can not fault. 5 stars 🌟.

Tang Hall is a truly marvellous asset to the community here in York. I was invited for lunch by Stephen Collins, the centre manager on my journey across the UK. This place is doing something very special and bringing the community together in many may ways. I spent a few days here resting. But left inspired and recharged in so so many ways!!! The food is pay as you feel. But it's incredibly good and highly nutritious. The staff and volunteers ooze passion and are very kind, welcoming and humble. Many people benefit from this amazing place. Just seeing the passion everyone has for this has left me speechless, but with so much to say. I'm so lucky to have been welcomed and looked after!!!! THANK YOU ALL X 💓 💓 👌 ✌️ Everyone at Tang Hall from staff, volunteers and the heaps of people who use and rely on this place are some of the most brilliant and stimulating folks I have ever met! Incredible place ! Forget all fancy restaurants and posh pubs around York, You won't experience that kind of vibe with any money, in any other place. Tang Hall Truly Is Community Cententer.

An amazing community centre at the heart of the community. We recently hired the hall for children's birthday party and it exceeded all expectations. A very well stocked commercial kitchen, hall, table etc. Highly recommended.
