What a brilliant library. Very friendly staff, and so helpful. Just finished a craft fair there and hope they invite me too their next one. Thank you! Acomb library, job well done x
I really enjoy visiting this library. It has a friendly atmosphere , the staff are helpful and knowledgeable. The choice of books is constantly changing so even though I visit a lot I always find a couple of good reads to take away. This library is a fundamental part of the community.
Brilliant morning spent at the Acomb library! Our daughter is starting school this autumn, so we decided to register her at the library. I wish we would have done it sooner! Saturday morning, the library was buzzing with families, lots of kids choosing books, playing in the garden, parents having a drink in the small coffee shop, and an overall really welcoming place. They had a small room where kids came together to play pokemon and later on lego. We borrowed some books, played some Lego had a coffee and cake. We will be definitely back for more weekend mornings. Heads-up for the team for being super helpful in the library and coffee shop alike. Bonus point that a library has its own cat who is randomly strolling up and down and walks around to say hi for all visitors!
I went about 5.45pm the library was quiet and the staff friendly and helpful. Good range of books. Computers available for patrons. Coffeeshop was closed leaving free tables and room to look through the information along the wall
Lovely library & very welcoming staff! The cafe lady was so friendly & kind to the customers. Also 10/10 for the local cat who hangs out there too!
