Tucked away cocktail bar. We were one of the first to get a table at the bar. Menu has a lot of choice. Many under £10 a cocktail and with options to have as a pitcher. We had a couple of rounds. The Mai Tai was great. As was my husband’s blue Hawaiian. Great place for a first stop before dinner. Can see inside they have set up for djs and a dance floor. Outside had lots of seating. They turned on the heaters which was not needed and they were very bright. Need a cocktail. This place does what it needs to. Stayed for a couple of rounds. Drinks have proper measures and barmen know what they are doing.
Great bar, drinks and music we stumbled across this place on a Saturday night, what let it down was the attitude of one of the staff collecting glasses and wiping tables. We were in his way near the bar and he was rude about it, so we moved to the side and he clearly had an attitude as he deliberately barged into one of us again. We left and went somewhere more friendly.
Terrible attitude of the staff towards paying customers with one of our party being barred for daring to ask the bartender what cocktail he was making as she was interested in one of their own. The particular favourite was waiting for the staff to take their money for the drink before refusing to hand it over before getting security to kick them out. Any protestations are silenced with threats to get you banned from "every bar in York". Don't waste your money or your time with this place, it stinks and the attitude of the staff is a disgrace.
Super fun on a weekend if you like reggaeton and latin music! Great cocktails and friendly staff, but the music caters to a very specific audience as I said
Nicely referred cocktail bar. . Quiet expensive ... £6.50 for a mocktail so not even alcoholic.. 90 percent of it was ice . Literally ice, So I doubt I will go back in . Heaters outside for the cooler times . Quiet comfy seating outside . Not much room between tables but there designed to cram people in I suppose.
