Absolutely lovely pub, have seen online and wanted to go for a while. Finally got the pleasure to with my boyfriend for new years (managed to go 2 days in a row), cocktails were fantastic and so were the staff. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and would 100% recommend if you are in the area !
Choosing The Kings Inn was absolutely the right call—a culinary decision I won't soon forget. From the first bite, the food was a revelation, delivering unexpected depth and flavor that instantly elevated the meal. The Buttermilk Garlic Chicken Tenders were a particular triumph; coated in a light, crisp shell, they were so tender they truly melted in the mouth. Separately, the cocktail here is simply spectacular. I’ve never had cocktails that entertained me so much. This exceptional experience was expertly rounded off by the team; the staff were uniformly attentive, warm, and professional. Me and my partner will definitely come back again
The food is amazing. We had the mini pies and the trio of Yorkshire puddings which were amazing. So quirky and quaint inside and all round a good old English pub 🇬🇧. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and attentive especially Charlie. The cocktail menu looked insane too. Can’t wait to go again… roll on next year.
So good we came back two nights in a row! The food is amazing, and the cocktails? Incredible! The staff are so lovely and fun! I could swim in the red onion gravy it was so good! Will be recommending this place to everyone, it was fantastic.
Went there yesterday on my my maiden visits to UK n City of York specifically. I love this place. The vibe and mostly the people. I Will definitely make this in my bucket list while visiting UK in the future
