Tasty food and a great atmosphere. Dim enough for a calm vibe whilst maintaing the ability to see, always enjoy coming here for that reason. Very cosy little find, always seems to be busy too. Rightly so. They offer a wide menu, toasties, sandwiches, salad, scones and cakes, soup (though they didn't have any today) and plenty of coffees, smoothies and milkshakes. Great to support local too. Will always choose independent where I can and I believe a lot of their produce is locally sourced. A little on the pricey side but worth paying for the extra quality. They waited on us at the table and then we paid at the counter at the end. I had a toastie from the specials board and it was delicious, it came with a generously sized side salad. Although, initially my salad was on my friend's plate as they mixed up our side orders. Simple switch but odd how they managed to get them confused. Also love how they're dog friendly. Seen a couple of very cute and very well behaved pets! Will be returning when I'm next in the area!

This place is absolutely brilliant. The coffee is outstanding — perfect for real coffee lovers. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always smiling and genuinely kind. The food was excellent (the bacon sandwich is a must). I’ll definitely be back very soon. Five stars! Sue was brilliant and so were all the other staff!

We had such a lovely morning here! Saturday morning- crazy busy, but lovely Sue was smiling away and we were warmly greeted and seated really fast! The coffee was good, the sausage sandwich was great- everything locally sourced which I appreciated. We took brownies away with us because they looked so good and we just really enjoyed our experienced! Sue and the team were so warm and kind and that really topped it all off- would highly recommend!

Two of us came this morning for breakfast and coffee. The service is outstanding, attentive staff but not all over you, we asked for another few minutes to look at the menu as they were keen to take our order upon arrival. They were more than happy to give us a few extra moments to decide. The menu is right up my street, not pages and pages of different things, a very good selection of quality breakfast/brunch dishes along with sandwiches etc. I had creamy mushrooms on toast with additional poached eggs and my partner in breakfast craving crime had smashed avocado on toast, again with additional poached eggs. The food arrived a matter of minutes after ordering and was absolutely delicious, a very hearty portion of a dish done exactly how I wanted it. The atmosphere was superb, it’s a medium sized busy dining area and you don’t in any way feel in the way or on top of other people which was very nice. The cake/desert selection is top drawer and we took some away with us.
