Our cosy 1st floor cafe offers respite from York's busy city centre and offers a chance for you to catch up with friends in comfortable surroundings and enjoy our relaxed and friendly service.

We think it’s important that you know where your food has come from, and we’re really proud that lots of the items on our menu are made by independent Yorkshire suppliers. We're also very happy to say that all our ham and pies come from outdoor-bred pigs from Yorkshire and that our cakes are all made using free-range eggs.

All our sandwiches are made to order just for you and our cakes are handmade, so once they’re gone, they’re gone - we'd hate to disappoint you, so make sure you come early!

We try to make sure there's something on the menu for everyone, but if you're planning a visit and are worried that we may not be able to accomodate your needs, please give us a call or drop us an email first so we can reassure you!
