I visited Zibby's on their opening day and you would think they had been open for weeks by how organised it was and the busy atmosphere. I went for their chicken caesar sandwich and opted for a caramel latte. The sandwich was incredible, right down to the thick bakery bread! I noticed they do breakfasts sandwiches and muffins as well as brownies and cookies, so I will definitely be returning to sample them!

I have been here 3 times since it opened, each time been a good experience as the staff are very helpful and friendly. The first twice the sandwiches were excellent too, fresh and tasty. But today I went and sadly very disappointed as the bread was not fresh. I will go again based on the first 2 visits, but if I had the same issues again, I would not go back. Fingers crossed they ensure fresh bread always going forward and love their choice of sandwiches and would be great for them to do well.

What a fantastic new addition to that side of the city! I had a cappuccino and a cold cuts Hoagnie roll. The cappuccino was very nice coffee with a very silky smooth milk texture. The main event being the sandwich, holy moly was that unbelievable! Crusty on the outside but soft in the middle bread roll, the perfect ratio of each different meats and cheese. The hot honey was fantastic, a very good balance of sweet and spicy matched with the coolness of the mayonnaise. The only change I would make would embrace the Italian roots of that sandwich and go down the root of rocket instead of lettuce but that is being incredibly Nick picky. The staff at Zibbys were so incredibly lovely and I even helped than rehang their menu for them! Will be back more times that I’d like to admit.

Went to York for the first time in a while this weekend, popped into Zibbys for a drink and sandwich. I'm quite a hot chocolate connoisseur and can say it was the best hot chocolate I've had. As for the fish finger sandwich, the bread was incredible the sandwich was just perfect, the staff were so friendly and helpful. I can't wait to visit York again soon and try the other choices.
