Ashley nails it. Well done that lad. Me and the 2 small humans visited yesterday and we loved it. We were served by a lovely lady. And we met the man himself, Smithy, Asher’s, THE Ashley Smith. His range of gelatos is impressive. And crucially for me, there was a coffee flavour. Bravo. And it was tremendous. The kids both got strawberry and loved that too. We each got a tub with 1 scoop and it was a decent sized scoop ✅ We sat in the little room at the back of the shop which was nice to rest our little legs. Just three tables there and we had the room to ourselves, most peeps be take-outs. Anyway, in summary, Ashley has found his place in the world, it’s making epic and taste sensation gelato. I have a new man crush. We shall return (if he allows me to after my stalker vibe review!!)).
A gelato shop - Gelato! by Ashley Smith, located at the end of York's Shambles Street, which is a great spot to reward yourself with some sweet after visiting the movie's filming location and taking photos. They pride themselves on freshly hand made gelato, and while the selection isn't huge, there are still 18 flavors available, including some unique and rarely found ones. The flavors are sweet and delicious, especially the Kesar Mango, which is both tangy and sweet, making it very refreshing. Regular size with two flavors: £4.5 🍦 strawberry + Kesar Mango 🍦 Vanilla + hazelnut 🍦 boozy raisin + butterscotch beer
Yum! Visited on Saturday with my grandson, who had cookie dough and icecream which was absolutely delicious, lovely lady and gentlemen served us and had a lovely chat with them while the dessert was being made. Definitely worth a visit if you need a sweet treat.
Newest ice cream shop in The Shambles! Very good taste and lots of flavours! Rich taste while retaining the natural essence of the ingredients. The gelato also has a smooth and creamy texture. Service is lovely with the immense patience and helpful attitude.
The delicious gelato at the end of York Butcher Street has many flavors and is one of the most dense gelatos I have ever tasted. I really recommend it
