Nice coffee and cake shop. First time I received a small ice cream with my coffee definitely a plus. Friendly staff, quite compact inside but okay for a quick drink and snack. Toilet downstairs steep stairs.
Visiting for the marathon and needed a coffee. Found this cracking little place that was authentic and not in your face like other coffee places. Sat down in a relaxed environment and the ice cream with the coffee was quirky and impressive . Coffee was spot on as a coffee snob
I visited with friends as they said it was good coffee. Coffee was great and a free mini ice cream with each drink which is bit of a gimic. The man who served though was utterly miserable and seemed to take umbridge at me changing the order and just seemed upset at our presence. Interesting.....
Absolutely delicious gelato with a great range of flavours, including vegan options! Friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. A must-visit spot in York for a sweet treat!
Great Gelato... ordered a To Good To Go surprise bag and got two cold small slices of pizza (about the size of a hand) and two large croissants for £4.90... that's it (No Gelato as promoted on TGTO). If this is standard for Roberto's To Good To Go bags I won't be doing that again, however I will still be visiting for that special Gelato. :)
