The best bacon butty we ever had for a long time. I can’t believe we only just found it out till today since we have moved to York six years ago. The price is very reasonable, the lady runs the store is so friendly and chatty. We did enjoy sitting in the open Shambles Market and have this delicious Bacon Butty.
By far the best place to eat in York. We always call in for a sandwich and a brew everytime. Excellent food at a fair price. This place is a 'must visit ' if you go to York.
Perfect full English breakfast with tomato, hash browns, baked beans, bacon, ham, three kinds of sausages, mushrooms. Everything tasting very good. Also big homemade style burgers with nice fried onion. Beautiful surroundings with ancient buildings. Nice market.
Cracking value and tasty food. Was a pleasant surprise to find that prices weren't hiked for the Christmas market. The kids actually wanted to head back here (from the previous visits) despite the extra Christmas stalls!
Really friendly service and lovely chips - especially with the gravy!!!
