Being from Australia eating here for the first time I would recommend the food any time to anybody very fresh and good quality friendly service made to feel comfortable
Very delicious meal. Friendly and helpful staff. Recommend the soft shell crab, freshly made and crunchy, not oily at all. Best restaurant in York.
What an incredible find. We were staying outside the city centre and came across this place on our walk from the hotel and thought the food looked nice and reasonably priced. My husband went for the Thai iced tea and it was unbelievable- so beautifully and perfectly sweet. Our food was cooked fresh to order and was fantastic- just the perfect blend of spices. It was just such a wonderful meal and our host was brilliant too!
Not good experience for our takeaway. Partner ordered lamb in black pepper but it was beef. I had Massaman which was so sweet and sickly it was more like dessert. Starters, fish cakes and sweetcorn cakes were pretty tasteless. Would not use again and not authentic flavours in my opinion. And pricey for takeaway too at £42!
Reasonably priced good food. Good service. They changed cutleries and plates for you after starter and main. The restaurant itself is a bit cramped and not well ventilated. But will still go there for the food!
