Had lunch here while we made a pit stop at York, this lovely city. The lady boss was friendly and welcoming, patiently explained the menu to us. Food was yummy, claypot beef stew (牛腩煲）is strongly recommended 👍🏼 My Asian tummy was happy in this cold winter day 😄
Sweet Chinese family running a wholesome, authentic joint with good quality food in generous portions. Nothing fancy but definitely gives you a cozy, positive vibe.
Loved the appetizer of pickled Seaweed and penuts. Awakens the senses. Followed it by trying their Kung Bao Prawns with Penuts and Chilli and some fried rice. Really nice flavours. I enjoyed the hotness of it too as I love hot. The prwns were large. Really tasty. Plenty of traditional chinease dishes that you dont find in more europeanized places but also has some of the familiar ones Ladies were friendly and kind spoke little english. Would recomend to try some more authentic flavours.
Cozy little diner serving relatively authentic and affordable Northern Chinese food. The 锅包肉 (sweet and sour fried pork) was cooked to perfection, highly recommended!
This is the best Chinese food in York, incredibly affordable with the most delicious flavors. The staff are exceptionally friendly. I come here every week. It might just be the best Chinese food in the UK.
