A great restaurant offering all kinds of Japanese cuisine including sushi, ramen, noodles and curry. The portions we got were generous and very tasty - it took me forever to get through my ramen! The staff were helpful, and were knowledgeable on the many dishes they serve - and we didn't have to wait too long for our meals. Price was around £15 for a main at least, but it was worth it. Would recommend!
As a Japanese food lover, craving for one on my trip to the UK, walk into this unassuming restaurant in the middle of Chinese joints in the neighborhood, and had to say craving satisfied. My wife ordered Pork Cashu Ramen and I got myself the Sirloin Steak with Egg fried rice on Iseki (hot stone pot). The food was really delicious and hit the right spot as far as authentic Japanese food goes. A generous serving of Pork Cashu that’s not only thick and juicy but tender as well with a tasty ramen broth, while mine has great sirloin with a flavorful smoky fried rice. To top it off, this place truly had a nice ambience and spacious interior, while the service is really proper. I wanted extra drizzle of the teriyaki sauce on my sirloin, and not only the friendly waitress helped me to it but i was given additional portion of it on the side, in case it wasn’t enough. Truly pleasant experience and highly recommend others in similar plight as me or just want to have a good Japanese food to give this restaurant a shot. You will not regret.
Really good and authentic Japanese food. The sushi rolls are well made and the noodle soup is very flavourful. Delicious food and lovely cocktails as well. Great atmosphere and service, really recommend!!
What a wonderful place to eat! Food and service were exceptionally good! My boyfriend is Asian and he was impressed with the taste and the quality! Also what a lovely staff working! Loretta has been so welcoming!
I’ve just had a tasty supper at Ipfu. My sushi rolls were good and my veggie ramen was good too, they made it slightly spiced and it wasn’t too salty. I had a Japanese IPA which was OK. All for £30, the service was perfect.
