What can I say. Excellent. Excellent. Defo be back again next time we’re in York. Nathan and Zach both are genuine, friendly and welcoming. We had the cheese melts and meatballs, along with the lamb and oxtail and we were not disappointed. All the food was made with love and tasted as such. Veggies cooked with a perfect crunch and the oxtail was melt in the mouth. Great to find a wonderful independent rather than a run of the mill chain eatery.
We had the Boerewors Meatballs as a starter, the lamb shank and the bobotie as mains with a side of pap. Absolutely amazing food, no complaints. Such amazing service, the kindest owners and very attentive. Loved everything about this place.
Great restaurant with really friendly owners and staff that create a lovely atmosphere. The South African food was fabulous and lots of it. I also love the way the restaurant is decorated- very bright and welcoming. Definitely recommend.
Great place with excellent and friendly service. We were expecting a bit more flavour from the food, but it was still tasty - though the starters were probably better than the mains. Would visit again to try other things out!
Fuuuuullllllup. Well that was a great bit of food. Deepfried gherkins, u filthy animal.. sooooo good. Try em. Biltong.. nom nom nom. Meatballs. Oh yes.. give me more. Mains. Ostrich like fillet steak but lighter. try it.. its not chicken. Monkey gland sauce... sweet and chutney like. Miele with the chackalaka sauce, different and good. Try something different for a change. Its nice and bloody filling, roll me home and pop me. Great staff. Good food. What more can you ask for...
