An intriguing choice for a climbing wall business to invest into a full pizza restaurant attached to its main wall, though nice to see the change this way round in contrast to most other climbing walls that seem to continually chop down their menus and reduce hot food capabilities. I have had pizza here twice now, and it was delicious. The second time I effectively designed my own pizza after mistakenly ordering a white base on visit 1 (why would anyone want this I’ve never understood) and requesting the same pizza with a tomato base. They were accommodating and it was great. You can watch the climbers while you eat if you want to, but we didn’t want to so we didn’t. I also think my old drum teachers daughter works here now which is fun, small world
Beautifull Rustic decorated, spacious, warm cafe. The christmas pud pastry was delicious. And you have a choice on the mocha what chocolate. Would recomend for friends or dates. Lunch time they have oven backed pizza and a selection of cheeze and cured meats with wine. Lots of chouce for seating indoors and out in the back. And a gigantic climbing hall in the back. Would recomend
Excellent place and amenities. Everything was just awesome, and what a place to chill and talk, really! Their pizza and latte were very good and hand-made oven pizza. Had shroomi in the pizza menu. Would recommend anyone coming to York to visit this place and also to the York residents. This place has got vibes, really! Gonna be my go-to place in York 6 from now on. This place also has got a gym and rock climbing arena, which again surprised me.
Great pizza. Original topings on a thin base. Exemplifies why independent restaurants beat chain. I you're looking for pizza but fancy something a little different from the run of the mill offerings give the Red Goat a try. oh and its good value too.
One of my fav places in York. They do an amazing flat white coffee, and the BEST chocolate banana bread I have ever had. It's always a sad time when there's none left. Highly recommend!
