First time here for Wifes Birthday. Had the sharing tom yum noodle soup and a sharing platter which tastes amazing. Lovely place with Lovely staff. Can here the food being the woks clunking upstairs while they cooked. Would really recommend this place and will definitely be calling back again. They have a lunch time special which includes a drink for £15

The chicken pad Thai was delicious! It needed more spice for me personally so I added a lot of the chili paste and even then needed more spice. I’ve eaten a lot of Thai food in my day and this was great. The flavor and texture overall were on point! I also got the shrimp donuts which were a total miss. For $10+ these were really forgettable and flavorless. I’m surprised by previous reviewers praising these heavily. But all that to say, really solid spot I would come back to for the pad Thai, and to try the other noodle dishes.

Decided to complete the trifecta this week and try the last of this small cluster of Thai restaurants, having previously eaten at Zaap and Giggling Squid. I like Rosa’s as a chain, having previously eaten at the ones in Edinburgh and Liverpool, but this was my first visit to this large one in York. A former shop, it’s up opposite The Ivy, so quite well located for the shops and the nightlife. Seated straight away without a reservation (Thursday evening), that was a good start - service was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself is warm and cosy inside, divided into smaller areas so it doesn’t feel crowded. A big plus. The decor is eclectic, with novel signage. To drink, a pint of Singha. It has to be really, doesn’t it, Singha for the people. I had been avoiding alcohol this week, out of respect for my liver, but a wet and blustery day really called out for beer. So there it was. Beer for the soul. To eat, the classics. The fluffy prawn doughnuts to start - beautiful minced prawn, deep fried and served with a sweet and spicy sauce. Yum. Pad kra pao for my main - with minced chicken. Just the right side of fiery 🔥 and with a crispy, golden-yolked egg sitting atop the rice, like a majestic beast surveying its lands. The yolk was perfect, bursting to spread forth its bounty upon the rice. No dessert. There were some on offer but I had cakes for lunch and felt I should be good. Rare, but it happens. Overall this was a good choice. There’s much to commend about a visit to Rosa’s - recommended for either lunch or dinner. Two paws firmly up.

We had a wonderful dining experience here! The Thai food was very authentic, and my whole family absolutely loved it. Even though we didn’t have a reservation, the staff quickly arranged a table for us. A special thank you to Keaw, who took care of us throughout the meal. She was very friendly and warm, and her smile made us feel so welcomed. She did her best to accommodate all our requests, which we truly appreciated. I forgot to take photos of the food, but the Christmas vibe in the restaurant was amazing :D Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Thai cuisine! ✨

Very delicious food. We ordered the tom yum hotpot, prawn doughnuts, and tofu fried rice. Everything was superb and of high quality. I honestly think it tastes better than some of their London branches. The staff were lovely as well, especially the manager (or possibly the owner) who was greatly accommodating. We mentioned we were short on time, and then the dishes arrived very quickly in less than 15 minutes. Overall, a highly recommended place.
