We had a delicious dinner at the Indian lounge and would happily come back if we are ever in York again. The service was outstanding and we couldn’t have asked for any more attentiveness. Some other groups of customers quite rowdy but that didn’t detract much at all, we had an excellent dinner! Best saag aloo I have tasted.
After some confusion from our last visit we were invited back by the owner to rectify the problem as we have eaten here before & is one of our favourite restaurants in York , after been greeted by a staff member the owner very kindly introduced himself & apologised for the confusion & upset from our previous visit , our food was served in a timely manner piping hot & was absolutely beautiful , we had poppadoms to start then butter chicken , chicken bhuna , keema nan & mushroom rice which was all very tasty & full of flavour ! We had a lovely bottle of wine to wash it all down too ! The owner is a lovely man that took time to talk to us & also offered us a discount for our next visit which we can’t wait for aswell as a discount this visit to apologise which again is very nice of him Look forward to returning to this hidden little gem Thanks
Really delicious food! It seemed like the chicken chatt was served with a chapati rather than a puri, which was odd but tasty nonetheless! It was cash only which was a little annoying as people were having to go back out for cash once seated. The surroundings are lovely, although it was a title quiet when we were here. Staff very polite and attentive. Service charge automatically added, which was fine by us, but may be awkward asking to remove it if you don't want to pay.
every delicious test. It was like real Asian tests and add very perfect spices. we love it and every should try one in a Life. i was a just tourist but if i visit again to York definitely i will take my dinner in this restaurant. Thank you to the staff for your excellent service..
