Visited The Old Siam — just around the corner from our hotel while in York. The atmosphere was cozy and romantic, and the service was excellent. Our waitress, originally from Thailand, was so friendly and great to chat with. We shared a wonton soup and the Gaeng Keow Wan — both were delicious, perfectly balanced, and full of flavor. In short, if we had found this place on our first night, we would have definitely returned. สวัสดี
A Delightful Dining Experience at The Old Siam We had an absolutely wonderful time at The Old Siam in York. The service was not only highly professional (thank you Toon!) but also incredibly kind, with special mention to our amazing waitress Ida, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for throughout the evening. We opted for the Early Bird menu and were thoroughly impressed. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavour and beautifully presented; truly a testament to the kitchen's skill and attention to detail. Thank you for offering such a well-crafted menu, with exceptional execution and warm hospitality. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
FREE DRINK IN JANUARY!..With the early bird special. It was a nice surprise. The place was packed and there was only one guy waiting all the tables!! Somehow he managed and service was excellent. Highly recommend.
Every dish was delicious !! In my case, the portions felt quite small. But I hope that I visit this restaurant again.
Went in on a Tuesday for the early bird menu served between 5-6:30pm, and it was quiet with only a few tables sat. Exceptional food and service I couldn’t fault. Dog friendly too which is always a bonus
