Food here is classic Italian and reasonably priced. Super tasty and yummy. I love the arancini it was super good. Booking is required. Only reason it wasn’t 5 on everything was that we sat outside which meant food didn’t come out as quickly but the server did tell this before we took the table.
Absolute top quality restaurant, came here many times when family visit me at university. Amazing food particularly the pizzas, very kind and quick service and a lovely atmosphere.
An amazing find , will travel back to York just to visit. I've never eaten in a Sicilian restaurant before and was not disappointed. It is similar to Italian food, but much more refined than rustic like it's Italian neighbours. We had chickpea fritters and chicken wings to start. Loads of incredible subtle flavours. Then we had the calzoni and a mushroom pizza . The calzoni was massive but every bite was different. The mozzarella was amazing as was the rich tomato sauce. The best we have ever had of these two meals anywhere, including new York and Venice. They also have an ice-cream bar which has amazing fresh ice-cream. Average price for York, top notch quality for anywhere in the world.
Fantastic restaurant on Bishopthorpe Road with friendly and welcoming staff. Despite being a busy Saturday lunchtime and not having a reservation, they managed to squeeze us in. Both ragu and risotto cooked to perfection, followed by wonderful tiramisu, with a selection of gelato to die for. Will definitely return. Handy pay and display car park close by.
Got to be the best Italian food we’ve had in York! Everything was fresh, perfect textures and temperatures, packed with flavour and good portion sizes. Amazing authentic gelato for dessert. Solid selection of vegan options. Great service.
