A fabulous first visit to celebrate my daughter’s birthday!! We were warmly welcomed by the team and treated us as if we’re regulars!! The food was fresh and delicious and my daughter got a dessert with a candle in it and the lovely waiter sang happy birthday to her! We will definitely return as the food was so nice!
Visited here on Friday night food, service and atmosphere was fantastic. Would highly recommend for an evening out. 😊
My wife and I had an absolutely incredible meal here, we love Italian food and eat in many Italian restaurants. This one has to be the best we've ever had the pleasure of dining in. The restaurant decor is authentically Italian with beautiful chairs and tables and a gorgeous orange Vespa parked up outside the front. The restaurant is immaculate and everything is clean and polished. I had the Tagliatelle Amatriciana and my Wife had the Risotto Tosca and both were absolutely amazing. The flavours were sublime, the ingredients were fresh, of a high quality and cooked to perfection. A big thank you also to Franco, he gave us a lovely welcome as we walked in, his service was outstanding and he really made our evening with his great sense of humour. He is an absolute credit to this restaurant and my Wife and I very much look forward to dining here again and seeing Franco too! Well done Valentinos, this place is an absolute gem and highly recommended, we'll be back!!
Really great food, traditionally cooked with care and pride. The service is super welcoming with the Italian-Yorkshire charm staying just the right side of cheeky. Not the cheapest in the city but certainly one of the better places to spend your hard-earned Highly recommended 👌🏻
We visited for the first time this weekend. The food was delicious and great portion sizes. I had the goats cheese and my wife had garlic mushrooms. They were fantastic. I then had the chicken on skewers with rice and bbq sauce andmy wife had the steak. Great portion sizes and couldnt finish it all. Nice atmosphere with attentive and welcoming staff. We will be back the next time we are in York. Highly recommended, give it a try you will not be disappointed.
