Tasty portions are large it was quiet when we went and it was enjoyable. I felt slightly rushed to make a decision about which meal to go for. There is no dessert menu either but it was hot and popodooms in the starter given with chutney etc and the prices would add up if more dishes chosen. I was given the remains in a takeaway bag.
We had dinner here recently. The special biryani was average and the portion size was quite small for the price. However the curry that came with the biryani was very flavourful and delicious. The paratha was average and not what we expected. The butter chicken portion size was decent, but the dish was overly sweet. so sweet that we couldn’t finish it. There were also very few chicken pieces compared to the amount of gravy. Overall the prices are really high and not really worth it. On a positive note they provided hot freshener towels and mint chocolates after the meal which was a nice touch. The waiter guy was super friendly and welcoming and the service was excellent despite the food not meeting expectations.
What an amazing find this was, only a little place but made up for it with the food and heart shown. Food was outstanding, all our dishes cooked to perfection. The Afghani curry was amazing. Service wise, well what can I say. Little one asked for ketchup, they went to get some specially, she asked for a desert menu, again went to buy her something specially. Thank you so much for making our little xmas night away perfect.
Absolutely beautiful food. The bring your own booze policy helps bring the cost of an overall meal and greatly increased the variety of drinks you can have. The food is incredible. 100% recommended.
Got takeaway tonight. Went for meal with rugby club before Xmas and food was lovely. Tonight got the same thing on takeaway and the lemon rice was awful. Tasted and looked different from last time more curry tasting and hardly lemon
