Just Eat dont allow you to leave reviews until the delivery has taken place, many eateries are taking advantage of this. As you can see, where is the prawn in my prawn toast, the salt and pepper squid was inedible as it was too salty and the chicken was so dry in my main (see photo)
So, I've ordered from here quite a lot of times in the past and got the food with no problems at all but as of recently the orders have been greasy, cold on arrival or just tasted off in general and I've been honest with my reviews on just eat saying I've nit been happy with the orders to then get threatened by the courier saying my address will be blacklisted. Just don't bother complaining they won't take on the advice.
We were visiting York and chose this place based on the reviews on just eat. The food was hot, fresh, very tasty and generous. We asked for the ribs to be swapped, which they did, we got extra crab claws 😋. The food arrived in about 40 minutes. We are staying in apartments and the courier rang when she arrived. Very happy with the food and the service, the cost was reasonable too. We spent about £45. For that we had the sharing starter box, a main dish, noodles, rice, chips, curry sauce and prawn crackers. We have leftovers for today too 😊 We will definitely order from here again when we next visit York.
DO NOT ORDER HERE. Over 1.5 hours to deliver salt and pepper chips with spring rolls. That was honestly the full order. The food wasn't even remotely good after that. See attached photo of plain chips sold as salt and pepper chips. Oh, and for this small order it cost £14 with the delivery.
Delicious food, ordered over £100+ for delivery and the order was correct. Quick service. Highly recommend the pancake rolls and the salt & pepper chips in batter
