Backpacking to London from the north east, unfortunately these guys only take card but managed to help me out with some well needed food for my journey, lovely people and unreal scran!

The food arrived on time, which was great, and the pizza tasted good with fresh toppings and a nice flavor. However, the base was quite disappointing – it was very wet and slimy in places, which made it difficult to enjoy. A crispier, better-cooked base would have made a big difference. Overall, decent but room for improvement.
Nice food but rude staff. When I order my pizza online it said it was going to take 20 minutes for me to collect. When I came to collect I was ignored by all the staff member with in the takeaway. After mentioning I had come to collect so food I got a one word answer of “wait”. I do not expect to be spoken to when collect my food. After I waited a few minutes my food was slammed on the counter too followed by “go”. I was appalled at being spoken to like this by somewhere I had spent my money. Even though the staff were rude I can not fault the taste and size of the pizza I got. It was very tasty and a 10” pizza seemed to be bigger than a normal 10”. If I was to buy from here again I would get delivery so I did not have to interact with the rude staff member inside the shop.
We lived in York for 4.5 years and recently left and Peppinos was our go to pizza place from the start. The pizzas are incredible and the delivery was always fast, we would definitely recommend them if you are in their delivery area. Our favourite pizza was pepperoni hot but all of them are delicious.
