Outstanding service from start to finish! The Bigaplus in York has genuinely exceeded all my expectations. The smell lured me in initially but from the moment I walked in, the team was warm, welcoming, and incredibly friendly. They took the time to have a chat with myself and my partner and ensured that our food was fresh and yummy. Their attention to detail is second to none, and it’s clear they take real pride in the quality of their work. Everything was managed with the highest customer satisfaction, and the end result was even better than I expected. This independent business delivered excellent customer service and top-notch snacks without a sweat!! The staff are super friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. I felt valued as a customer throughout, and that level of service truly makes a difference. I’ll definitely be returning in the future and will happily recommending them to everyone who’s visiting York! Proud to support such a talented independent business
Some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. Tiramisu is a must try, so delicious with no alcohol! My personal favourite is the Feta and spinach calzone if I’m lucky enough to buy before it sells out. And some of the best pizza I’ve ever tried.
Saw this on Instagram and it was well worth the short walk from the hustle and bustle! Had the deep fried lasagna & a garlic bun. Sensational. Great service and friendly atmosphere too! Would highly recommend!
Lovely and quaint little pizza, coffee and dessert spot on Walmgate, in York. I had the deep fried lasagne, which was delicious. I would only suggest putting more meat in it, but that's me, a carnivore to the end, lol. Lots of drinks, teas and chai. I highly recommend it and will visit again.
I discovered The Biga+ sometime last year when I was walking into the city centre and now usually get off the bus early so that I can walk up Walmgate to visit. It’s quite small but is packed with deliciousness with everything from cannoli to garlic buns and pizza. I’ve never had to queue to be served but there’s always a steady stream of customers. Staff are lovely and it is spotlessly clean. Quite small inside so although there is no step I think manoeuvring a pushchair or wheelchair might be tight. Recommended, especially the cannoli!
