Welcome to Yorkshire
Inspiration • June 17th, 2025
|York’s skies will dazzle once again as Autumn Lights, the UK’s spectacular touring firework festival, returns to Elvington Airfield on Sunday 27 October 2024. Promising an evening of fireworks, live music and family-friendly fun, this all-out autumn celebration is set to be bigger and brighter than ever.

Fireworks, Live Music and Family Entertainment
Visitors can look forward to not one but two breathtaking firework displays — a magical early show designed especially for children, followed by a spectacular main display choreographed to music from around the world.
The festival atmosphere continues on the main stage, hosted by Yorkshire’s own DJ Ryan Swain. Headlining the evening are the iconic CBBC duo Dick & Dom, who will bring a high-energy DJ set of feel-good party anthems. Also performing is Young Elton, whose tribute show promises flamboyant costumes, live piano and timeless hits to get everyone singing along.
Street Food, Funfair and Roaming Performers
Autumn Lights is more than just fireworks — families can enjoy a vibrant funfair, roaming light and fire shows, live drummers from SPARK!, and walkabout entertainers throughout the evening. Street food stalls and bars will serve tasty treats and warming drinks, with flavours from around the globe.
New for this year are giant screens and crowd cams, capturing all the dancing and excitement to share on the night.
