A striking new 14-metre mural by Leeds artist Elle Koziupa, The Embrace, now brightens Aire Street with a celebration of the city’s heritage, culture and community connections.

Vue has opened a brand-new state-of-the-art cinema at Xscape Yorkshire in Castleford, launching with £1 film screenings, family activities and the county’s only EPIC by Vue big screen experience.

Leeds United has unveiled four brand-new hospitality suites at Elland Road, designed by Yorkshire firm DT Sports to mark the club’s Premier League return with a fresh matchday experience.

Hull History Centre has once again been awarded Archive Service Accreditation by The National Archives, recognising its excellence in preserving and sharing the city’s heritage.

Slug & Lettuce Leeds Boar Lane has reopened after a six-figure refurbishment, unveiling a chic new look with bold interiors, vibrant lighting and the same famous cocktails and bottomless brunches.

York’s much-loved Ghosts in the Gardens trail returns from 19 September with 58 wire-mesh sculptures, plus a brand-new evening event, Ghosts: The Untold History, running 5–9 November 2025.

The Hepworth Wakefield Harvest Festival returns 20–21 September 2025 with over 70 market stalls, artisan food and drink, live music, family activities, and half-price gallery entry to celebrate the new season.

The New Inn in Appletreewick is hosting a gourmet evening on 25th September with chef Mike Paylor and drinks expert Jane Peyton, pairing five courses of seasonal Yorkshire produce with expertly chosen drinks.

Nigel Price’s 46-date UK jazz tour, including a Leeds show this October, was saved from cancellation thanks to the new Liveline Fund supporting grassroots music.

Lockton Village Hall hosts a lively ceilidh with the Well Dressed Band on Saturday 4th October, raising funds for the community orchard with music, dancing, a raffle and a shared faith supper.

Reignite X comes to York Theatre Royal this October, celebrating its 10th edition by showcasing how local creativity drives global impact, investment and cultural growth.

Curtis Eller’s American Circus brings banjo-fuelled rock & roll and vaudeville flair to Yorkshire this October with five shows celebrating their new album Another Nice Mess.

Nicola Benedetti brings her first solo tour in over a decade to Harrogate’s Royal Hall on 4th December, offering an intimate evening of world-class music, storytelling, and collaboration with fellow musicians.

Cinderella brings festive pantomime magic to Silsden Town Hall this December with a weekend of family shows packed with laughs, songs and community spirit.

Scarborough’s Stephen Joseph Theatre has unveiled four standout visiting shows for 2026, from the hard-hitting Glitch and quirky We’re Not Getting a Dog to the comedy-thriller Grand Babylon Hotel and a foot-stomping Mumford & Sons tribute.

David Gray will bring his Past & Present World Tour to Yorkshire in summer 2026 with two huge shows at Scarborough Open Air Theatre (4 July) and Halifax’s Piece Hall (5 July), joined by The Divine Comedy.
