A striking new 14-metre mural by Leeds artist Elle Koziupa, The Embrace, now brightens Aire Street with a celebration of the city’s heritage, culture and community connections.
Vue has opened a brand-new state-of-the-art cinema at Xscape Yorkshire in Castleford, launching with £1 film screenings, family activities and the county’s only EPIC by Vue big screen experience.

York’s much-loved Ghosts in the Gardens trail returns from 19 September with 58 wire-mesh sculptures, plus a brand-new evening event, Ghosts: The Untold History, running 5–9 November 2025.
The Hepworth Wakefield Harvest Festival returns 20–21 September 2025 with over 70 market stalls, artisan food and drink, live music, family activities, and half-price gallery entry to celebrate the new season.

Curtis Eller’s American Circus brings banjo-fuelled rock & roll and vaudeville flair to Yorkshire this October with five shows celebrating their new album Another Nice Mess.
Nicola Benedetti brings her first solo tour in over a decade to Harrogate’s Royal Hall on 4th December, offering an intimate evening of world-class music, storytelling, and collaboration with fellow musicians.
Cinderella brings festive pantomime magic to Silsden Town Hall this December with a weekend of family shows packed with laughs, songs and community spirit.
Scarborough’s Stephen Joseph Theatre has unveiled four standout visiting shows for 2026, from the hard-hitting Glitch and quirky We’re Not Getting a Dog to the comedy-thriller Grand Babylon Hotel and a foot-stomping Mumford & Sons tribute.
David Gray will bring his Past & Present World Tour to Yorkshire in summer 2026 with two huge shows at Scarborough Open Air Theatre (4 July) and Halifax’s Piece Hall (5 July), joined by The Divine Comedy.
