EPR Project Manager
Overview We are supporting a large Acute NHS Trust seeking an experienced Interim EPR Project Manager to join a major digital transformation programme. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, delivery, and implementation of Electronic Patient Record initiatives, working closely with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven NHS Project Manager with experience delivering complex digital programmes within an acute healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of EPR-related workstreams across the Trust. Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, governance documentation, and progress reports. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including clinical, operational, technical, and supplier stakeholders. Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigations. Ensure programme milestones, deliverables, and benefits are achieved within agreed timescales. Support business change activities, user engagement, and adoption planning. Facilitate workshops, steering groups, and project boards. Work closely with EPR suppliers and third-party partners throughout delivery and implementation phases. Provide regular updates to senior leadership and programme governance groups. Essential Experience Demonstrable experience delivering EPR programmes within an Acute NHS Trust. Strong project management background with experience managing large-scale digital transformation projects. Experience working with EPR systems such as Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), Nervecentre, Altera, Meditech, System C, or similar. Excellent stakeholder management skills, including engagement with clinicians and executive leadership teams. Proven experience managing project governance, reporting, risks, issues, and dependencies. Strong understanding of NHS operational and clinical environments.
