This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, takes pride in organisation, and is comfortable managing a diverse workload within a supportive and well-governed business.</p> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>The Role</strong></p> <p><strong>Finance Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Raise sales invoices and approved credit notes in line with internal procedures</li><li>Perform daily bank and income reconciliations, escalating discrepancies</li><li>Manage petty cash with appropriate controls</li><li>Chase outstanding debtors professionally to support cash flow</li><li>Prepare client direct debit collections</li><li>Prepare journals and assist with financial reporting activities</li><li>Maintain organised records to support audit requirements</li><li>Use Excel to prepare financial schedules and ensure data accuracy</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>Office &amp; Facilities Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Meet and greet clients, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment</li><li>Manage the switchboard and handle calls promptly</li><li>Coordinate meeting rooms and prepare them for client meetings</li><li>Act as the main contact for day-to-day facilities matters</li><li>Liaise with contractors and building management</li><li>Manage incoming and outgoing post, including confidential correspondence</li><li>Oversee secure document handling, printing and scanning</li><li>Maintain office supplies and provide general administrative support</li><li>Assist with occasional operational tasks to support business continuity</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum 2 years’ experience in finance and administration</li><li>Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail</li><li>Professional and confident communication skills</li><li>High level of integrity and discretion</li><li>Proactive, dependable and able to manage multiple priorities</li><li>Confident user of Microsoft Excel and Word</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience supporting invoicing, reconciliations or finance processes</li><li>Previous office or facilities coordination experience</li><li>Experience within professional services</li><li>Experience within financial services or another regulated environment</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual seeking a broad, hands-on role within a professional and supportive team environment.</p> <p>For further information or a confidential discussion, please contact <strong>NJR Recruitment</strong> quoting NJR16453</p>
