You’ll help create consistency across offices while supporting managers and teams to perform at their best.</p> <p>Alongside day-to-day operational management, you’ll have the chance to identify improvements and influence positive change. </p> <p><strong>What You’ll Be Doing</strong></p> <p>HR &amp; Employee Relations</p> <ul> <li>Act as the go-to contact for day-to-day HR support and guidance</li><li>Support and coach managers through employee relations matters confidently and fairly</li><li>Manage end-to-end recruitment and deliver a great candidate experience</li><li>Coordinate monthly payroll inputs accurately and on time</li><li>Maintain confidential and compliant HR records and reporting</li><li>Manage relationships with HR suppliers including recruitment, benefits and wellbeing partners</li></ul> <p>HR Strategy &amp; People Development</p> <ul> <li>Support the delivery of HR and people initiatives across the business</li><li>Assist with retention planning, succession planning and organisational change</li><li>Coordinate and support our Investors in People (IIP) programme</li><li>Help drive engagement activity and continuous improvement across teams</li></ul> <p>Learning, Development &amp; Engagement</p> <ul> <li>Lead the Academy and coordinate learning and development activity</li><li>Partner with managers to identify training needs and source high-quality development solutions</li><li>Deliver internal training sessions where appropriate</li><li>Support performance and development processes</li><li>Coordinate wellbeing and engagement initiatives, including the Staff Engagement &amp; Actions Team</li></ul> <p>Business Support &amp; Administration</p> <ul> <li>Lead and develop administration teams across multiple offices</li><li>Set clear expectations and provide day-to-day support and guidance</li><li>Improve administrative processes, templates and systems to drive efficiency and consistency</li></ul> <p>Facilities &amp; Health &amp; Safety</p> <ul> <li>Ensure offices remain safe, secure and professionally maintained</li><li>Manage contractors, suppliers and facilities services</li><li>Coordinate office moves, refurbishments and workspace planning</li><li>Maintain health &amp; safety documentation, risk assessments and compliance records</li><li>Support fire safety procedures, incident reporting and follow-up actions</li></ul> <p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p> <p>Essential Skills &amp; Experience</p> <ul> <li>Experience in office, operational or practice management within a professional services environment (legal sector experience is a plus)</li><li>Strong generalist HR knowledge, including employee relations experience</li><li>Experience leading administration or business support teams</li><li>Experience managing suppliers, contracts and facilities</li><li>Good understanding of workplace health &amp; safety in an office setting</li><li>Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities</li><li>Strong communication and relationship-building skills</li><li>Confident Microsoft Office user including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams</li></ul> <p>Desirable</p> <ul> <li>Experience working across multiple office locations</li><li>Experience supporting Investors in People (IIP) or similar accreditation frameworks</li></ul> <p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p> <p>This role offers genuine variety, autonomy and the opportunity to make a real impact.</p> <p>You’ll work closely with senior leaders, help shape operational improvements, and play an important role in supporting our people and culture across the business.</p> <p>We’re proud to be a people-focused firm where collaboration, wellbeing and high standards matter — and where everyone is encouraged to grow and develop.</p> <p>Competitive salary – because your experience matters</p> <p>Hybrid &amp; flexible working</p> <p>25 days holiday &#43; bank holidays &#43; your birthday off</p> <p>Death in service scheme</p> <p>Healthcare cash plan</p> <p>Wellness group &amp; wellbeing initiatives</p> <p>Inclusive, supportive and down-to-earth culture</p> <p>Our in-house development programme</p> <p>Personal development plans tailored to your goals</p> <p>Clear and transparent progression opportunities for all employees</p> <p>COG LTD are acting as an Employment Agency.</p>
