<b>The Company</b><br />Delighted to be retained by a well-established, multi-site organisation at an exciting point in its evolution, seeking an Indirect Procurement Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping and building a centralised procurement function from the ground up.<br /><br />This is a unique opportunity to join a business with significant untapped potential across its indirect spend. Operating across a diverse footprint including retail, logistics and manufacturing environments, the organisation is embarking on a journey to transform procurement into a value-driving function.<br /><br /><b>The Opportunity</b><br />Reporting into a Head of Procurement, the Indirect Procurement Manager will take ownership of a broad and varied indirect spend portfolio, working across categories such as utilities, fleet, maintenance and operational services.<br />With no established central procurement structure currently in place, you will have the autonomy to:<br /><ul> <li>Identify and unlock immediate cost-saving opportunities</li><li>Bring visibility and control to fragmented, decentralised spend</li><li>Introduce supplier frameworks, governance and best practice processes</li><li>Partner closely with stakeholders across the business to influence change</li><li>Support the development of a scalable procurement function, with scope to build a team</li></ul> <br />This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic thinking and operational delivery – ideal for someone who thrives in a “build and improve” environment.<br /><b>About You</b><br />The successful Indirect Procurement Manager will be a commercially astute procurement professional who combines analytical capability with strong interpersonal skills.<br /><br />You will demonstrate:<br /><ul> <li>Proven experience in indirect procurement across varied spend categories</li><li>Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to work with imperfect or incomplete data</li><li>A track record of delivering tangible cost savings and process improvements</li><li>Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills</li><li>The confidence to operate in a fast-paced, evolving and occasionally ambiguous environment</li><li>Experience in categories such as utilities or fleet would be advantageous, though not essential</li><li>Cultural fit is critical.
